Support at home, arranged around you.

Whether you need half an hour of help with a bath, somebody to take you shopping, or a carer who lives with you, the starting point is the same: a conversation about what would make your week easier.

Service 01

Personal care

We provide our customers with assistance for daily living, which includes personal grooming support such as bathing, dressing and continence care.

This is the most intimate help anyone can receive, so it is the part we are fussiest about. Carers are matched to you and stay with you. They knock before they enter, they close the door, and they work at your pace — because being washed by somebody else should never feel like being processed.

Typically includes

  • Washing, showering and bathing
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Continence care and changing
  • Hair care, shaving and oral hygiene
  • Help with getting in and out of bed
  • Prompting and administering medication

Service 02

Social care

Our carers become “buddy guards”. They can accompany clients to shop, to the cinema, or simply spend time at home together so that they don’t feel alone.

Loneliness does more harm to an older person's health than most conditions we are called about. So we treat company as clinical care, not a nice extra. If what you actually need is somebody to argue with about the crossword, that is a perfectly good reason to call us.

Typically includes

  • Conversation and companionship at home
  • Trips to the shops, cinema, library or garden centre
  • GP, hospital, dentist and optician appointments
  • Visiting friends, family or a place of worship
  • Walks, hobbies and shared interests
  • Support to keep up a club, class or social group

Service 03

Domestic care

We provide light housekeeping services which include taking care of laundry, meal preparation, overseeing home deliveries and running errands.

Day-to-day upkeep is usually the first thing to slip, and the first thing people are embarrassed to ask for help with. Please don't be. A load of washing put on and a proper hot meal made is often the difference between staying at home and not staying at home.

Typically includes

  • Laundry, ironing and changing bed linen
  • Preparing meals and drinks, and washing up
  • Light cleaning and tidying of the areas you use
  • Receiving and putting away home deliveries
  • Collecting prescriptions and running errands
  • Keeping the fridge and cupboards stocked

Conditions we are registered to support

Our CQC registration covers more than older age. We are registered to care for adults living with the following, and we can build any of it around personal, social or domestic care.

Dementia

Continuity is everything. The same carer, the same route, the same cup — familiarity is what makes a day feel safe.

How a plan is built

From first phone call to first visit

  1. You call us. We ask what is difficult at the moment and what you would like to change. There is no charge for this conversation and no obligation afterwards.
  2. We visit you at home. A care plan is written with you, not for you. If family members want to be involved, they are welcome.
  3. We match a carer. We tell you who is coming and when, so the first visit is not a stranger at the door.
  4. We review it. Plans are living documents. If something is not working, tell us and we change it.

About our pricesWe do not publish rates on this website, because the honest answer depends on your assessment, the length and timing of visits, and whether you have local authority funding. We will always give you a written quote before you commit, and we will never bill you for anything you have not agreed to. Call 01268 964605 for a current price list.

Not sure which service you need?

Most people aren't, and that is completely normal. Tell us what a difficult day looks like and we will suggest something.
